  34. Excuse me. Voodoo requires two things out of AmigaGuide:

  36. amigaguide.library version 39 or later, because Voodoo requires OS
  37. version 3.0, and that includes this library. If you don't have it, it
  38. is because a misbehaving application has overwritten it with an
  39. obsolete version, and you can get the version 39 back from the
  40. Workbench floppies.

  42. amigaguide.datatype version 41 or later, if you want to view
  43. AmigaGuide documents as mail. This is not by choice. Earlier versions
  44. of amigaguide.datatype will simply not work at all with Voodoo,
  45. because they were buggy in a way that wasn't caughht by anyone before
  46. I tried to use amigaguide.datatype in Voodoo. The other reason is that
  47. version 41 makes it safe to view AmigaGuide documents from unknown
  48. sources. You wouldn't want an E-Mail to format your hard disk, would
  49. you? If you don't have amigaguide.datatype V41 (few people at moment
  50. do), Voodoo will just give you the option of saving the document in a
  51. file, and will not show it.

  54. about it in an obscure newsgroup I skim over once or twice a week (I
  55. would have missed it were it not for a followup that said "voodoo" in
  56. the subject), I might stand a chance of answering.
